Flax, baby! Flax! [preludes]

From Zone2Source’s greenhouse, amongst the lush vegetation of Amstel Park, Flax, baby! Flax! [preludes] hosted a series of open rehearsals in preparation for the operatic performance Flax, baby! Flax! with composer Bergur Anderson and performers Pilar Mata Dupont, Romy Day Winkel, Logan Hon Mua, Joana Guiné, Robin Becker, Giulia Damiani, Bitna Youn, Miriam van Rijsingen, and Berenike Melchior.

While rehearsing in the sweltering heath, the libretto for Flax, baby! Flax! was finalised, new interpretations of flax tools/instruments were sculpted, and flax was worked into braids.
